WYNDHAM HOUSE
Wyndham House is a historic grade II listed building
facing onto Sloane Square constructed by the Cadogan Estate in the late 1870s and which was originally occupied by the Wyndham family before being converted into luxury apartments.
As a listed property having external air conditioning units facing the street is an impossibility and due to privacy, traffic noise and pollution concerns the residents don’t typically open their windows. This has created a stuffy internal environment with a lack of air circulation and uncomfortable temperatures in warmer months.
The management of Wyndham House through the Cadogan Estate were aware of complaints from the residents about these conditions and the lack of a viable cooling option.
They were searching for a system that meets all the requirements including fire regulations, lease and insurance requirements. They needed a purely internal system that is quiet and would not disturb neighbouring apartments.

LOWNDES SQUARE
The client was having an extensive refurbishment. Their apartment was already well insulated but the addition of triple glazed windows combined with the lack of air circulation made it unbearable.
Their builder, who was familiar with it from previous projects, recommended HomeKube.
The client thought having air conditioning installed was a major project. However, unlike the MVHR system the client had in their previous apartment there was no massive ductwork or ugly trunking.
